Sweet and gentle with both humans and goats, Echo was a dear friend and a productive team member. During her lifetime she produced 14 kids and more than 10,000 pounds of milk. She was a USDA Elite Doe and Top Ten on all three lists. She suffered a severe bout of milk fever in 2006 due to the unavailability of quality hay, then in 2007 delivered a litter of five healthy babies. The demands on her body were too much. She passed away in late September, 2007.
